The Jira work management service will undergo an upgrade which will make it unavailable from  4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, December 14. This downtime is necessary to upgrade Jira to the latest version.

Impact

Jira will be unavailable for up to two hours during the maintenance window, 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, December 14.

Messaging and Collaboration Request Portal Emergency upgrade

The server hosting OIT’s Messaging and Collaboration Request Portal (also known as the Aurora web application) will undergo maintenance between 9 and 10 a.m. on Friday, December 9. The work being done during the maintenance will address several known security vulnerabilities. 

Impact

The Messaging and Collaboration Request Portal/Aurora web application will be periodically unavailable from 9 to 10 a.m. during the maintenance upgrade and while the server is rebooted.

Email Delays

Service Restored at 4:55 PM on 11/30/2022: After investigation, OIT determined the source of the continued email delays. The issue has been addressed and email delays have since been resolved. Email delivery will occur at the normal rate.

Service Issue Reported at 5:49 PM on 11/29/2022: OIT continues to receive reports of delayed or undelivered emails. We are currently investigating the issue and will update when we learn more.

Buff Portal Outage

Long Distance Calling Issue for Jabber Soft Phone Clients

Service Issue Reported at 9:24 AM on 11/28/2022: OIT Voice Services is investigating a long distance calling issue for Jabber clients. Calls cannot go through if dialing 8+1+.
