Service Restored on 6/4/2025 at 1:51 PM: Microsoft has resolved the issue and the phones are working.

Zoom - Canvas Integration Outage

Service Issue Reported at 1:22 PM on 5/30/2025: OIT has confirmed that the issue impacting the Zoom Canvas integration has been resolved.

Service Issue Reported at 12:53 PM on 5/30/2025: The Zoom Canvas integration is currently experiencing an outage, with users unable to access Zoom via Canvas. OIT is investigating and will continue to update.

Issue Resolved at 12:00 pm on 5/29/19: CU Alert: All Production Services Now Available As of 12:00 p.m. all production services have been restored. There are no outstanding issues.

Issue Update at 11:03 am on 5/29/19: System Administration Email (CU.edu) is now available. All remaining production services continue to be unavailable. UIS is working to restore remaining services and will provide more information as it becomes available.

KMS Server Upgrade

The KMS Server will undergo maintenance between1 and 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21. This will impact users running unsupported versions of Microsoft Office (Office 2010, 2013). This maintenance is required to update the server to a new operating system.

Campus Border Firewall

The Campus Border Firewall will undergo maintenance between 6 and 7 a.m. on Wednesday, May 28. This maintenance is required to replace a failing line card on the Campus Border Firewall.

Impact

All CU Boulder network traffic will be in a degraded state for approximately 20 minutes during the maintenance window. This may result in a partial outage for services dependent on our Commodity Network.

Campus Network Upgrade

The campus F5 hardware will undergo maintenance on Wednesday, May 21 from 5-6:30 p.m. This maintenance is required to upgrade the F5 hardware operating system.

Impact

No impact is expected, but customers may notice a brief service delay if accessing network redirects on MyCUInfo or CUConnect during the maintenance window.

Buff Portal Intermittent Access Issue

Service Restored at 10:00PM on 5/14/2025: OIT has resolved the issue causing users to get an error message when accessing Buff Portal buffportal.colorado.edu.

Service Issue Reported at 6:45PM on 5/14/2025: OIT is aware of an intermittent issue impacting Buff Portal (buffportal.colorado.edu). Users are receiving a "opensaml::FatalProfileException" error when attempting to sign in.

VMs Hosted in the OIT Private Cloud's SPSC Datacenter

Service Issue Reported at 8:30 PM on 5/14/2025: OIT became aware of an issue that impacted most virtual machines hosted in the OIT Private Cloud's SPSC datacenter. We believe the issue started around 6:45PM and most systems should now be recovered as of 8:30PM.
