UIS will perform service maintenance on enterprise applications from 6 a.m. to noon on Sunday, Jan. 26. This maintenance is necessary to install a critical patch update to CU's systems.

Impact

During the maintenance window, Campus Solutions, MyCUInfo, Buff Portal, and some of the resources accessed through these services will be unavailable (see Unavailable Services below). There will also be a delay in campus IdentiKey provisioning.

Classroom Capture (Mediasite)

Canvas Self-Service Course Creation & Web Grading

OIT will perform maintenance on LMSManager, a system that supports Canvas, from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29 (revised date). This maintenance is necessary to move LMSManager to a new application platform and will occur during Canvas's standard maintenance window.

IdentiKey Manager & Grouper

An internal business process that is expected to run for approximately 24 hours beginning at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22, may cause processing delays in IdentiKey Manager and Enterprise Access Management (Grouper).

Impact

For a 24-hour period starting at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22, users may experience delays in IdentiKey creation, account changes, and other IdentiKey Manager and Enterprise Access Management (Grouper) processes.

Turnitin

Impact

During the maintenance window, Turnitin.com and the Canvas Turnitin integration will be unavailable, and users will be unable to access Turnitin features.

Service Restored on 1/8/2025 at 9:06 AM: OIT has restored service to call services and Contact Centers are able to make and receive calls now. 

Service Issue Reported on 1/8/2025 at 8:52 AM: OIT is currently aware of an issue affecting campus Contact Centers and preventing the ability to make or receive calls. OIT is investigating and will continue to update.

COMP & SPSC Data Center Firewall Upgrade

The Computing Center (COMP) and Space Science Center (SPSC) data center firewalls will undergo maintenance from 6 to 7:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 10. This maintenance is necessary to upgrade the software.

Impact

During the maintenance window, wired network traffic will experience two brief outages of 5–10 seconds. Voice and wireless networks will not be affected.

COMP Data Center Software Upgrades

Update on 1/8/2025, 7:40 a.m.: All COMP ACI switch upgrades have completed successfully. All COMP ACI data center networking is back to normal operation. 

Update on 1/8/2025, 7:33 a.m.: COMP switch upgrades are taking longer than expected. Expected completion: 7:45 a.m.
