Features
- Can accommodate messages up to approximately one page long
- Can send to one or more premade audiences (e.g., students, faculty, researchers, classified staff, deans, chairs), or to a sub-audience or custom audience (charges may apply)
- Can be set up in advance to be delivered on a specified date
Conditions
eMemos must:
- Originate from a university entity, such as a department or student group
- Concern university business only; no personal or commercial correspondence is permitted
- Be approved by a vice chancellor or their designee if sending to a large audience
eMemos must not:
- Be sent on behalf of an outside group, organization, or individual
- Concern fundraising or solicit funds
- Promote political or religious viewpoints
Cost
Administrative eMemos may have a charge associated with them, paid for by the department or individual sending the message.
Who can get it
All messages sent via the Campus eMemo System must originate from within the university (e.g., a department or student group).
