OIT-Managed Mac Labs and DDS-Managed Mac Login Issues

Service Issue Resolved at 02:32:00 PM on 11/01/2022: Managed Mac Labs and DDS-managed Macs can log-in normally.

Service Issue Reported at 01:55 PM on 11/01/22: EMS (Endpoint Management Services) has verified two separate login problems: One impacting DDS-Managed Macs, and one impacting the ability to login to OIT-Managed Mac Student Labs.

EMS is working with OIT Labs to resolve the issues.

Classroom Capture/Mediasite Cloud Issues

Service Restored at 6:50 AM on 10/27/2022: The issue with Mediasite Cloud (Classroom Capture) has been resolved. 

Service issue reported at 12:05 PM on 10/26/22: Mediasite Cloud (Classroom Capture) is currently experiencing issues. The vendor is investigating. Users may experience longer than normal wait times for video uploads, video processing jobs, and occasional site time-outs.

VPN Services

The campus’s VPN services will undergo a system failover between 6 and 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 27. Those who are using the VPN at the time of the upgrade may be disconnected from the VPN and need to log in again. This maintenance is necessary to address bugs in the current code version and is recommended by the VPN vendor.

Impact

Those who are using the VPN between 6 and 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 27, may be disconnected from the VPN and need to log in again.

Northstar

OIT’s Northstar Application Server will undergo maintenance between 8 and 9 a.m. on Wednesday, October 26. The work being done during the maintenance is required to update the smtp server that Northstar uses.

Impact

Northstar (northstar.colorado.edu) may not be accessible for up to an hour during the maintenance window, 8 to 9 a.m. on Wednesday, October 26.

Service issue restored at 3:24 pm on 10/25/22: Array is stable and outage has been resolved. 

Service issue updated at 12:13 pm on 10/25/22: Data access should be restored. OIT is still investigating the issue with the vendor.

Network in MATH Building

Service Restored at 8:41 AM on 8/19/2022: OIT has resolved the issue impacting the wired and wireless networks in MATH 100.
