UIS will perform service maintenance on enterprise applications from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 23. During this time Campus Solutions, MyCUInfo, MyCUBoulder and Buff Portal, and some of the resources accessed through these services, will be unavailable (see Affected Services below). Services that are linked through the portals, but not otherwise dependent upon them, will still be accessible through direct links (see Affected Services below).

Systems Engineering - Windows Servers

Windows servers supported by Systems Engineering will undergo maintenance between 12 and 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 13. This will impact services that are dependent upon the Windows Servers. The work being done during the maintenance will address security vulnerabilities to these servers. No server downtime is required or expected.

Service Restored at 12:05 PM on 10/10/2022: OIT has confirmed access to ServiceNow has been restored. The vendor has not yet confirmed resolution however, the service has been stable for 20 minuets. If the service is impacted again a new service alert will be issued.

Jira

The Jira work management service will undergo an upgrade which will make it unavailable from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, October 12. This downtime is necessary to upgrade Jira to the latest version.

 Jira will be unavailable for up to two hours during the maintenance window, 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, October 12.

Network Outage

Service Restored at 10:03 AM on 10/6/2022: Power has been restored to the impacted buildings. Network connectivity has returned to normal. 

Service Issue Reported at 8:18 AM on 10/6/2022: OIT is aware of an issue impacting network connectivity due to a building power issue in Stearns Towers, Williams Village North and Darley Towers.

Emergency - Voicemail & Auto Attendants

The campus voicemail service will undergo an emergency update between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 1. While steps are being taken to minimize impact, there is a possibility that voicemail and auto attendants could have brief interruptions during the update window (see more info in the Impact section). This update is necessary to accommodate authentication changes being implemented by Microsoft.

EDURoam Authentications

Service Restored at 3:25 PM on 9/21/2022: eduroam authentications are working again and the service has been restored to normal operation.

Service Issue Reported at 2:46 PM on 9/21/2022: OIT is aware of an issue with eduroam authentications. UCB Wireless and UCB Guest can be used as an alternative for wireless connectivity. Please be aware that these particular wireless networks are not encrypted.

Slowness and errors when accessing Canvas

Service Issue Resolved at 12:43 PM on 9/21/2022: Vendor has implemented a fix and confirmed that canvas is operational again. 

Service Issue Reported at 12:07 PM on 9/21/2022: Canvas is having issues of slowness and website access for users in the US region, This issue is vendor side and they are currently investigating the issue. Vendor information about this outage can be found at https://status.instructure.com/
