ServiceNow, OIT’s primary service management tool, will undergo an upgrade on Tuesday, September 20, from 7 to 9 p.m. This maintenance is necessary to upgrade the ServiceNow customer-facing interface. This maintenance does not impact the analyst-facing interface.

Enterprise Applications including Campus Solutions & Portals

UIS will perform service maintenance on enterprise applications from 6 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, September 25. During this time Campus Solutions, MyCUInfo, MyCUBoulder and Buff Portal, and some of the resources accessed through these services, will be unavailable (see Affected Services below). Services that are linked through the portals, but not otherwise dependent upon them, will still be accessible through direct links (see Affected Services below).

Zoom Outage

Service Issue Restored at 09:52 AM on 9/15/2022: Zoom is operational and Zoom has resolved the issue on there side

Issue with Email Functionality in Qualtrics

Service Issue Resolved at 01:06 PM on 9/16/2022: This issue has been resolved, emails should be able to be sent and received without issue through qualtrics. 

 

Service Issue Reported at 04:06 PM on 9/14/2022: Emails sent from Qualtrics are currently unable to be sent if they include a custom "from" field. The default Qualtrics "from" email address still works. This impacts invitations, shared reports, email response triggers and any other emails sent from within Qualtrics.

AD delays

Service Issue Reported at 2:40 PM on 9/14/2022: Grouper should no longer have delays with AD syncs. 

Service Issue Reported at 11:34 AM on 9/14/2022: Due to Source of record updates in grouper large delays in AD syncs may occur.  This will cause any access changes on provisioning and de-provisioning to be delayed. It should not effect authentication to these services.

ServiceNow Upgrade

ServiceNow, OIT’s primary service management tool, will undergo an upgrade on Thursday, September 15, from 7 to 9 p.m. This maintenance is necessary to upgrade ServiceNow to a newer version. 

Impact

Users of ServiceNow should be able to use the system during the maintenance window from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, September 15. When maintenance is complete, users will notice a new login screen on https://colorado.service-now.com, as well as an improved user interface.

Jira

The Jira work management service will undergo an upgrade which will make it unavailable from  4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14. This downtime is necessary to upgrade Jira to the latest version.
 

Impact

Jira will be unavailable for up to two hours during the maintenance window, 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14.

Authentication Issues

Service Restored at 9:24 PM on 9/7/2022: OIT has confirmed the campus Domain Controllers have returned to normal. 

Service Issue Reported at 5:00 PM on 9/7/2022: OIT is aware of a possible issue with services that are dependent on the campus Domain Controllers. It is possible some authentications to specific services may fail. A solution has been implemented and OIT is monitoring the situation.
