Service Issue Reported at 12:00PM on 08/27/2024: New Identikey password and account changes may be delayed for at least 5 minutes. OIT is monitoring the situation and will post updates as they become available.

ServiceNow is Unavailable

Service Restored: ServiceNow is now available. This outage impacted multiple ServiceNow customers beyond CU Boulder. 

Service Issue Reported at 1:30 p.m. on 8/26/24: ServiceNow is currently unavailable, which means the IT Support Portal is also unavailable. The vendor has acknowledged this broad outage and is working to address it. We'll post more information in this Service Alert as it becomes available.

Service Restored at 4:48 p.m. on 8/26/24: OIT has isolated the issue and believes the issue is resolved. If a device does not automatically connect to UCB Wireless or UCB Guest, please restart the device. The networking team will continue to monitor the service.

Service Issue Update at 4:30 p.m. on 8/26/24: OIT's network team has performed field testing that confirmed an issue. Troubleshooting continues. We will post updates to this Service Alert as we learn more.

Slow loading times with Canvas

Network Outage due to Xcel in Multiple Locations

Service Issue Resolved on 8/16/2024 at 10:35AM: Xcel has resolved the issue and restored Power to the affected locations.

Power is expected to be restored at 11:00AM MDT. Networking is on standby and waiting to restore. OIT will continue to monitor the the situation and update accordingly.

The Jira work management service will undergo an upgrade which will make it unavailable from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, August 14. This downtime is necessary to upgrade Jira to the latest version.

Turnitin

Turnitin will undergo maintenance by the vendor from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 17. During this time, Turnitin.com and the Canvas Turnitin integration will be unavailable.

Impact

During the 8-hour maintenance window, Turnitin.com and the Canvas Turnitin integration will be unavailable, and users will be unable to access Turnitin features.
