Service Restored at 10:00 am on 3/16/21: OIT has responded to all contacts we have received about this issue so far and we are prepared to address concerns from accounts that haven’t tried to log in to their accounts, yet. Service Issue Reported at 12:00am on 3/13/2021: OIT is aware of some users who have had their Identikey passwords reset as a result of a change OIT put in place on 3/12/21. OIT scrambled passwords for 50,000 Identikey accounts that seemed inactive for over a year to reduce the number of accounts that attackers might try to compromise. This included @colorado.edu email accounts that may have been signed in via a desktop or mobile email client, but that have not had to have a password entered in over a year. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and are taking steps to update our process to correctly identify inactive accounts in the future.

Note: If you are an alumni you will want to select the “Student” option when activating your Identikey and will need your Student ID.
