Service Restored: Multiple UIS services remain unavailable, including MyCUInfo

Issue Resolved at 12:00 pm on 5/29/19: CU Alert: All Production Services Now Available As of 12:00 p.m. all production services have been restored. There are no outstanding issues.

Issue Update at 11:03 am on 5/29/19: System Administration Email (CU.edu) is now available. All remaining production services continue to be unavailable. UIS is working to restore remaining services and will provide more information as it becomes available.

Service Maintenance Scheduled: Active Directory

The Active Directory service will undergo maintenance between 8 a.m. on Wednesday, August 17 and 5 p.m. on Friday, September 9. The work being done during the maintenance window will replace the four existing domain controllers. The domain controllers will be replaced one at a time, creating a redundancy that should prevent service degradation or outages.

Impact

There is no expected impact during the maintenance window, however, users may see a slight slow down in services that depend on the Active Directory or use the Federated Identity service. With that said, OIT is working to ensure slow downs are minimal if they occur at all. Our team will be actively monitoring services dependent on the Active Directory and will issue a Service Alert if any issues arise.

Service Maintenance Completed: Jira

The Jira work management service will undergo an upgrade which will make it unavailable from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10. This downtime is necessary to upgrade Jira to the latest version.

Service Restored: Access to Buff Portal & Other Services

Service Restored at 1:30 AM on 8/5/2022: OIT has resolved the issue impacting access to services including Buff Portal and the campus VPN. 

Service Issue Reported at 10:02 PM on 8/4/2022: OIT Is aware of an issue impacting access to services including Buff Portal (Buffportal.colorado.edu) and the campus VPN. OIT is working to resolve the issue.

Service Restored: Sign-in Issues with Some Call Centers Accessing Cisco Finesse

Service Issue Resolved at 04:30 PM on 8/3/2022: Call center services are now in a stable state and should remain so as a full fix is implemented.

Service Issue Updated at 12:25 AM on 8/3/2022: Voice Services working with NEO to resolve issues with sign into Finesse, and now dropped calls to agents. Call Centers may be closed as a result of this issue. 

Service Issue Reported at 10:25 AM on 8/3/2022: OIT has multiple reports of  sign-in issues from some call centers reporting difficulties accessing Cisco Finesse.

Service Maintenance Completed: Grouper Upgrade (mygroups.colorado.edu)

The Grouper access management service, accessed at mygroups.colorado.edu, will undergo an upgrade from 5 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 4. The upgrade will prevent access to the service during the downtime; however, existing groups, roles and memberships should not be affected. This downtime is necessary to update the connection between Grouper and the Active Directory.

"During the maintenance window, 5 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 4, Grouper may be unavailable to users. Users will not be able to make changes in Grouper to avoid inconsistencies between Grouper and Active Directory while the change is being implemented.

Service Restored: Network Issue in ECCE

Service Restored at 2:08 PM on 8/1/2022: OIT has resolved the issue with the network switches in ECCE. Wired and wireless network access has been restored. 

Service Issue Reported at 12:50 PM on 8/1/2022: OIT is aware of an issue with a network switch in ECCE. Some rooms and areas in the ECCE wing are offline for both wired and wireless. OIT is working to resolve the issue.

Service Restored: Auto Attendant Phone Lines Intermittently Dropping Calls

Service Issue Resolved at 1:44 PM on 7/29/2022: Call drop issues have been resolved, but monitoring will continue through Monday.

Service Issue Updated at 12:07 PM on 7/27/2022: OIT is investigating intermittent dropped calls when off-campus callers select options from Auto Attendants on campus. We have determined the the impact is larger than the Wardenburg phone line. If your call drops please try dialing again. OIT has engaged the vendor to resolve this issue.
