Service Restored: Multiple UIS services remain unavailable, including MyCUInfo

Issue Resolved at 12:00 pm on 5/29/19: CU Alert: All Production Services Now Available As of 12:00 p.m. all production services have been restored. There are no outstanding issues.

Issue Update at 11:03 am on 5/29/19: System Administration Email (CU.edu) is now available. All remaining production services continue to be unavailable. UIS is working to restore remaining services and will provide more information as it becomes available.

Service Restored: Campus Contact Centers

Service Restored at 9:30 AM on 7/25/2024: OIT has resolved the issue. Calls to campus contact centers are now working as expected. 

Service Issue Reported at 9:20 AM on 7/25/2024: OIT is aware of an issue impacting campus contact centers. Currently callers will receive a busy signal when attempting to call a campus contact center. OIT is working to resolve the issue.

Service Maintenance Completed: Enterprise Applications including Campus Solutions & Portals

UIS will perform service maintenance on enterprise applications from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 21. During this time Campus Solutions, MyCUInfo, Buff Portal, and some of the resources accessed through these services, will be unavailable (see Affected Services below). Services that are linked through the portals, but not otherwise dependent upon them, will still be accessible through direct links (see Affected Services below).

Service Restored: External Incoming/Outgoing Calls

Service Restored on 7/10/2024 at 1:16 PM: Incoming/Outgoing calls are now working as expected. 

Service Issue Reported at 11:20 AM on 7/10/2024: OIT is aware of an issue impacting outgoing and incoming calls from external phone numbers to campus numbers. Currently external calls will result in a busy signal. OIT's Voice Services Team is investigating the issue.

Service Maintenance Completed: Jira

The Jira work management service will undergo an upgrade which will make it unavailable from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10. This downtime is necessary to upgrade Jira to the latest version.

Service Restored: VPN Connections and Campus Network

Service Restored at 12:30 PM on 7/9/2024: After investigation, OIT determined the issue was not with the border firewall, but rather was related to external Internet Service Provider (ISP) services. OIT has confirmed that it appears the issue has been resolved and there is no further impact to the VPN or OIT services.

Service Maintenance Completed: Firewall maintenance

The campus network will undergo an update between 6 and 6:30 p.m. on Monday, July 1. On-premise campus multicast will experience short disruptions during the maintenance window. The work being done during the maintenance window is required to address a performance issue with the border firewall.

Impact

On premise network traffic with multicast dependencies will experience disruptions during the maintenance window.
