Service Restored: Multiple UIS services remain unavailable, including MyCUInfo

Issue Resolved at 12:00 pm on 5/29/19: CU Alert: All Production Services Now Available As of 12:00 p.m. all production services have been restored. There are no outstanding issues.

Issue Update at 11:03 am on 5/29/19: System Administration Email (CU.edu) is now available. All remaining production services continue to be unavailable. UIS is working to restore remaining services and will provide more information as it becomes available.

Service Maintenance Completed: Enterprise Applications including Campus Solutions & Portals

UIS will perform service maintenance on enterprise applications from 4 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, February 18. During this time Campus Solutions, MyCUInfo, Buff Portal, and some of the resources accessed through these services, will be unavailable (see Affected Services below). Services that are linked through the portals, but not otherwise dependent upon them, will still be accessible through direct links (see Affected Services below).

Service Maintenance Completed: Enterprise Database (multiple services impacted)

The production Enterprise Database (EDB) service will undergo maintenance between 6 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 17. This will impact services that are dependent upon the Enterprise Database, including the Federated Identity Service and services that rely on it for logins such as MyCUInfo, Buff Portal, Canvas, and many more (see Impact and Affected Services below). The work being done during the maintenance will improve security, stability and functionality of the EDB.

Service Maintenance Completed: Jira

The Jira work management service will undergo an upgrade which will make it unavailable from  4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, February 14. This downtime is necessary to upgrade Jira to the latest version.

Service Maintenance Completed: OIT Website

The OIT website will undergo maintenance between 9 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31 through 12 a.m. on Thursday, February 1. This maintenance is being done by our web hosting vendor and is necessary to upgrade security and compliance infrastructure.

Impact

Visitors to https://oit.colorado.edu may not be able to access the OIT website and its associated functionality for up to 30 minutes during the maintenance window.

Service Restored: Microsoft Teams

Service issue Restored at 6:30 PM on 1/27/2024: All issues impacting Microsoft Teams have been resolved. As of 6:30 PM on 1/27 Microsoft reported that after extended monitoring and various optimizations and mitigation efforts, they have confirmed that our Microsoft Teams service and features have been restored or returned to optimal health.
