Service Restored: Multiple UIS services remain unavailable, including MyCUInfo

Issue Resolved at 12:00 pm on 5/29/19: CU Alert: All Production Services Now Available As of 12:00 p.m. all production services have been restored. There are no outstanding issues.

Issue Update at 11:03 am on 5/29/19: System Administration Email (CU.edu) is now available. All remaining production services continue to be unavailable. UIS is working to restore remaining services and will provide more information as it becomes available.

Service Maintenance Scheduled: Enterprise Applications including Campus Solutions & Portals

UIS will perform service maintenance on enterprise applications from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 23. During this time Campus Solutions, MyCUInfo, Buff Portal, and some of the resources accessed through these services, will be unavailable (see Affected Services below). Services that are linked through the portals, but not otherwise dependent upon them, will still be accessible through direct links (see Affected Services below).

Service Issue Reported: Intermittent issues with campus Touchpoint Contact Centers

Service Issue Reported on 6/13/2024 at 12:43 PM: OIT is aware of an intermittent issue where when a caller reaches a campus touchpoint contact center the agent cannot hear the caller. In addition, transfers from Touchpoint contact center to a 5-digit campus extension in Microsoft Teams is also not working. As a temporary workaround, transfer to the 10-digit campus phone number instead.

Service Issue Reported: Microsoft Teams Desktop Client - Poor Voice and Meeting Quality

Service Issue Reported on 6/7/2024 at 8:59 AM: OIT is aware that a subset of users of the Microsoft Teams desktop clients may not be able to make voice calls or attend Teams meetings or may experience poor video and audio quality. Users can bypass the issue by using the Microsoft Teams web and mobile apps, or by restarting the Microsoft Teams desktop client.

Service Maintenance Completed: Enterprise Database (multiple services impacted)

The production Enterprise Database (EDB) service will undergo maintenance between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 8. This will impact services that are dependent upon the Enterprise Database, including the Federated Identity Service and services that rely on it for logins such as MyCUInfo, Buff Portal, Canvas, and many more (see Impact and Affected Services below). The work being done during the maintenance will improve security, stability and functionality of the EDB.

Service Maintenance Completed: ServiceNow Upgrade

ServiceNow, OIT’s primary service management tool, will undergo an upgrade on Saturday, June 8, from 3 to 7:30 p.m. This maintenance is necessary to upgrade ServiceNow to Washington DC, the latest version of the software. Learn more about this update from the ServiceNow Washington DC release notes

Service Maintenance Completed: Contact Center Update

Campus Contact Centers will undergo maintenance between 7 and 9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29. The work being done during the maintenance window will upgrade the servers used by Contact Centers and will address several known issues. 

Impact

Contact Centers will likely experience several short outages during the maintenance window. Receiving calls and accessing Contact Center software will not be possible during these outages.

Service Restored: Restoration of missing DocuSign messages

Service Restored on 5/16/2024 at 2:50 PM: DocuSign messages delivered between 4/15/2024 and 5/14/2024 that were inadvertently removed from users inboxes were restored earlier this morning. Because restored messages appear as new deliveries this may result in a significant quantity of previously received DocuSign messages appearing in users inboxes, particularly for frequent users of DocuSign.
