Description

A software upgrade on the campus F5 content switches will make a number of services briefly unavailable—most notably CU Boulder’s Microsoft Office 365 service and Identity Manager (cuidm.colorado.edu)—on Thursday, January 31, between 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm. Please see the Impact section below for details. This upgrade is necessary to enable new security features and bug fixes.

  • The upgrade will not affect email delivery or use of email programs such as Outlook or Apple Mail.

  • Grouper (mygroups.colorado.edu) will be briefly unavailable which could cause failed changes for those who are logged in to it during the service degradation.
  • QuickAdmit provisioning of IdentiKey credentials for Continuing Education will fail during the service degradation.
