Subscribe to Service Alerts

Service alerts highlight planned and unplanned outages for the numerous services that OIT provides to the CU Boulder campus.

To have alerts sent directly to your inbox, subscribe to the mailing list using one of the methods below.

Use Google Groups

  1. Open a browser and go to the Google Groups subscribe page for service alerts. Be sure to be logged in to your IdentiKey@colorado.edu Google account.

  2. Click the Join Group button at the top of the page.

  3. A pop-up window will appear asking you to choose your group settings. Click Join Group to be added to the service alerts mailing list.

Send a New Email

  1. Send an email to oit-service-alert+subscribe@colorado.edu.

  2. Shortly after, you will receive a message confirming your request.

  3. Reply to that message to be added to the service alerts mailing list.

Unsubscribe from Service Alerts

To stop receiving service alert emails, unsubscribe using one of the methods below.

Use Google Groups

  1. Open a browser to Google Groups and log in with your IdentiKey@colorado.edu account.
  2. Click My groups.
  3. Find the oit-service-alert row, then either (depending on your browser size):
    • Click the Leave group icon
    • Click the More icon, then select Leave group

Send a New Email

  1. Send an email to oit-service-alert+unsubscribe@colorado.edu.

  2. Shortly after, you will receive a message confirming your request.

  3. Reply to that message to be removed from the service alerts mailing list.

Reply to a Service Alert Email

Click the Unsubscribe now link at the bottom of any service alert email or reply to the email with REMOVE ME as the subject line.
