Error message in Canvas/Mediasite Integration
Issue
When using The Mediasite Integration within Canvas it will prompt an error reading "Uploader Error: [-500] browse_button specified, but cannot be found" (shown below).

The error message does not appear to cause an issue for using the tool. Users are still able to search and embed Mediasite content into their Canvas courses.
Status
This error message has been reported to the vendor and is scheduled to be resolved on 9/1/2025.
My Mediasite in-browser capture for computer audio (not currently enabled for all users)
Issue
When using My Mediasite in-browser capture for computer audio, computer audio sound is compressed.

My Mediasite in-browser capture is not supported for Firefox for capturing computer audio (not currently enabled for all users)
Issue
When using My Mediasite in-broswer capture, Firefox is currently not a recommended web browser.
Workaround
The following web browsers are currently supported:
- Google Chrome for Windows - system audio, audio of a browser tab
- Microsoft Edge for Windows - system audio, audio of a browser tab
- Google Chrome for macOS - audio of a browser tab
- Microsoft Edge for macOS - audio of a browser tab
- Google Chrome for Chrome OS - system audio, audio of a browser tab
