Caroline Callahan (she/her) joined OIT’s User Experience team in Summer 2026 as a student assistant UI/UX Designer. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Creative Technology and Design Engineering, with a minor in Computer Science, and expects to graduate in May of 2028.

Caroline’s interest in user experience stems from her passion for combining creativity, technology, and human-centered problem-solving. Through her Creative Technology and Design coursework, she has developed skills in user research, prototyping, visual design, and front-end development, allowing her to approach design challenges from both technical and creative perspectives. She was able to explore this interest professionally during her time as a Digital Marketing Intern at Foxtail Coffee. By helping improve digital experiences across the company's website and mobile app, she saw firsthand how research, design, and technology can work together to solve real problems for users. She enjoys creating experiences that are intuitive, accessible, and meaningful for the people who use them.

As a member of the UX team, Caroline enjoys helping improve digital experiences across campus and learning how research can inform better design decisions. One of her favorite parts of the role is collaborating with teammates to understand user needs and seeing how feedback can directly influence the products students use every day. She especially enjoys working on projects that make university resources easier to navigate and more accessible for everyone.

Outside of her role at OIT, Caroline enjoys skiing, traveling, exploring new coffee shops, and taking on creative projects. She also volunteers with Make-A-Wish Colorado and holds leadership positions in her sorority.
