Description
Wi-Fi, and in some cases wired connections, will be unavailable between 4 am and 7 am on Friday, January 4, in multiple buildings (see Affected Buildings below) while Wi-Fi access points in these buildings are moved to a new controller. This maintenance is necessary to move the access points off a controller that is nearing end-of-life.
Impact
All WiFi services, including UCB Wireless, UCB Guest, Secure Wi-Fi, and eduroam, will be unavailable for approximately one hour between 4 am and 7 am on Friday, January 4, in multiple campus buildings (see Affected Buildings below). Wired network services will also be unavailable in Darley and Stearns during this timeframe.
