Description
The Engineering and TCOM firewall clusters will undergo expedited maintenance on Friday, November 16, from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. to address a bug. This maintenance will update the code version on the following firewalls: ENGR, ENGR2, PHYS, RGNT, HUM, ECON. The update will be applied through a process that is expected to eliminate the possibility of network outages during the maintenance window. This update is expected to address a bug that has been affecting network performance in multiple campus buildings.
Impact
While the code update will be applied to multiple firewalls, it is expected that there will be no perceptible impact to campus networks.
