ISSUE RESOLVED at 12:39 pm, on 08/16/2018 - Microsoft has communicated to all of its customers that the licensing issue has been fully remediated!
ISSUE REPORTED at 10:34 am, on 08/16/2018 - OIT has confirmed that users are experiencing issues with signing into Office 365 and potential subscription and activation errors. Microsoft has been engaged and they are currently working on a solution to restore the service.
Additional Information:
- This issue is affecting multiple insitutitons and customers worldwide
- This issue affects accessing Microsoft Office desktop applications, leaving them inaccessible due to the error for some users
Workaround:
The IT Service Center is recommending customers who are experiencing issues with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, etc) can use the Office Web Applications which are accessible here: Office 365
