Description

Update: As of 10:15 am, The Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) update is complete and it appears that all updates/creates/changes to user accounts are flowing to OIM and downstream resources (directory.colorado.edu, Google, O365).

Update: As of 7:56 am, this change is still in process. This means that no changes or updates can happen to Oracle Identity Manager and downstream resources.

Oracle Identity Manager traffic and job processes will be suspended on Thursday, May 24 from 7 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. while traffic to and from the service is moved to a new fiber link. The maintenance could delay the creation of new accounts and changes to existing accounts (see Impact for more information) during this time. This maintenance is necessary to increase the bandwidth available between univerivery OIM systems.

Impact

From 7 a.m. to 7:30 a.m., updates to account information, such as display name changes or email settings, in the Enterprise Directory (directory.colorado.edu) and the availability to log in to some new accounts (Continuing Education students, Slate scholarship applicants) will be delayed. New accounts and updates are expected to catch up shortly after the maintenance is completed. Since directory.colorado.edu is a core dependency for Federated Identity Service, new users may not be able to access all IT services immediately and account updates may not be reflected in applications.
