Description
The production Enterprise Database service will undergo maintenance on Monday, March 26, from 7 pm to 11 pm. Identity Manager (cuidm.colorado.edu) will be down for the duration of the maintenance, impacting changes to accounts and real-time creation of accounts. The maintenance will also impact services that are dependent upon the Enterprise Database including the Federated Identity Service and services that use it (see Impact and Affected Services).
Impact
Identity Manager (cuidm.colorado.edu) will be down during the maintenance window. Thus, changes to existing accounts (password changes, mail settings, etc.) and real-time creation of new accounts (Continuing Education, Scholarship Applicants in the Admissions process) will be unavailable. Dependent services may also experience interruptions during the maintenance window (see Affected Services below).
The Registry Jobstream will be disabled on Monday, March 26, and other automated jobs related to data feeds, extracts, and provisioning of third-party systems will also be down during the maintenance window.
Affected Services
Identity Manager (cuidm.colorado.edu) will be down during the maintenance window. Thus, changes to existing accounts (password changes, mail settings, etc.) and real-time creation of new accounts (Continuing Education, Scholarship Applicants in the Admissions process) will be unavailable.
The following services are dependent upon the Enterprise Database and may experience interruptions during the maintenance:
- Grouper (mygroups.colorado.edu, mygroups-ws.colorado.edu)
- Mobile MyCUInfo (m.colorado.edu/mycuinfo)
- Northstar (northstar.colorado.edu)
- Federated Identity Service/Shibboleth (fedauth.colorado.edu) and services that rely on it including: MyCUInfo, D2L, Canvas, Student Printing
- Book Store data retrieval (via MyCUInfo)
- LMS Manager
- Real Time Course Enrollments
