Description
The campus Federated Identity Service will undergo an upgrade on Wednesday, January 3, at 10 a.m. Federated Identity Service provides authentication for campus services such as MyCUInfo, D2L, Qualtrics, and Lynda.com. The upgrade is not expected to interfere with authentication to these services. The upgrade brings the service up to the latest stable, supported version of the Shibboleth Identity Provider. Along with numerous bug fixes and improvements, the upgrade is expected to correct a known logout issue for MyCUInfo.
Impact

It is possible that users could experience a transient interruption during a login, but it would be resolved by a reload, for example.
