Description
The campus Oracle Identity Manager service will undergo maintenance on Friday, December 22 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The maintenance could delay the creation of new accounts and changes to existing accounts from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on that evening (see Impact for more info). This maintenance is necessary to upgrade the load balancer infrastructure that supports access to Oracle Identity Manager.
Impact
From 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., updates to account information, such as display name changes or email settings, in the Enterprise Directory (directory.colorado.edu) and the availability to log in to some new accounts (Continuing Education students, Slate scholarship applicants) will be delayed. New accounts and updates are expected to catch up shortly after the maintenance is completed. Since directory.colorado.edu is a core dependency for Federated Identity Service, new users may not be able to access all IT services immediately and account updates may not be reflected in applications.
