Description
The campus Oracle Identity Manager service will undergo maintenance on Tuesday, November 28 from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. The maintenance could delay the creation of new accounts and changes to existing accounts during the maintenance window. This maintenance is necessary to apply regularly released application patches and updates.
Impact
During the patching window, no updates to Enterprise Directory (directory.colorado.edu) will take place. Thus, the creation of some new accounts (Continuing Education students, Slate scholarship applicants) will be delayed. Updates to existing accounts, such as display name changes or email settings, will also be delayed. New accounts and updates are expected to catch up shortly after the maintenance is completed. Since directory.colorado.edu is a core dependency for Federated Identity Service, new users may not be able to access all IT services immediately and account updates may not be reflected in applications.
