On Thursday, October 12, between 6:30 am and 7:00 am, OIT will move the VoIP equipment that process phone service in JILA to new UPS backup power. This work will make the VoIP phone service unavailable for up to 20 minutes in the JILA building, but will not affect analog phone service or data connectivity. This work is necessary to extend the duration of uninterrupted power to VoIP phones during power outages.
VoIP phone service will be unavailable for up to 20 minutes in the JILA building on Thursday, October 12, between 6:30 am and 7:00 am. This work will interrupt VoIP phone services in JILA, but not analog phone service or data connectivity.
