Description
On Thursday, October 12, OIT will move analog voice gateways in the Center for Innovation & Creativity (CINC) & Walnut Distribution Center (WALN) buildings to new UPS backup power. This will make analog phone services--generally serving fax machines, elevator phones, etc.--unavailable in CINC & WALN for five to 10 minutes between 7:30 am and 7:45 am. This work will not impact VoIP phone service. This change is necessary to extend the duration of uninterrupted power to analog phones during power outages.
