Description
An upgrade of network switches in the Center for Community (C4C) will make network services unavailable on Monday, May 15, between 5:00 am and 7:00 am. Both wired and wireless services (including VoIP phone connections) will be unavailable for up to 20 minutes while the upgrade takes place. This maintenance is necessary to replace a switch that is at end-of-life.
Update as of 7:10 a.m.: During the maintenance it was discovered that one switch needed to be replaced. Network connections have been restored to the building for all but this one switch. The hardware replacement is expected to be complete in approximately one hour.
Impact
Both wired and wireless services (including VoIP phone connections) will be unavailable for up to 20 minutes on Monday, May 15, between 5:00 am and 7:00 am.
