Description
The OIT Private Cloud infrastructure hosted in the SPSC datacenter will undergo maintenance between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. on Wednesday, August 3. As a part of Networking’s ACI project, the network connections serving this infrastructure will be removed from the SPSC Nexus 7k routers and re-configured in the new ACI infrastructure.
Impact
During the maintenance window, there will be a brief interruption of a few seconds in network connectivity for networks as the devices in the SPSC data center re-learn the new MAC address of the gateway IP. Devices should be able to handle this change dynamically, however, there is a possibility that some devices could require manual intervention to recover from this network change.
