Description
The CU People module will undergo maintenance starting at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13, concluding at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 16. This could impact the provisioning and updating of accounts for certain services. Specifically, changes made to DUO Multi-Factor Authentication, new account provisioning for Buff Portal Advising, and new employees access to MyCUInfo may be impacted.
Impact
- DUO multi-factor authentication: Users who update their contact information in MyCUInfo (or who have their HR Liaisons update their contact information) in order to update their DUO authentication method, will not be able to use their updated information for authentication until Monday, April 18th. This only impacts updating your information for DUO, users who already use DUO and do not need to update their authentication method should not be affected.
- Buff Portal Advising: Newly provisioned student information will not be populated until the maintenance is completed. All other activity in Buff Portal Advising will not be affected.
- MyCUInfo: New employees entered during the maintenance window may not have access to the resources tab in MyCUInfo until Monday after the maintenance window is over and data finishes syncing.
Any changes that were made during the maintenance window will start syncing at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 16. All accounts should be finished syncing by Monday, April 18.

The following services are dependent upon the CU People module and may experience brief interruptions during the maintenance:
- Updates to Authentication methods/information for DUO multi-factor authentication
- Salesforce - Buff Portal Advising new account provisioning
- MyCUInfo new account provisioning
