Issue reported on 10/22/2020 at 12:39pm:

Users may be unable to launch the Teams desktop client or join or invite users to calls

User Impact: Users may be unable to launch the Teams desktop client or join or invite users to calls.

More info: Users may see an "Oops" page when attempting to access the Microsoft Teams desktop client.

Current status: Vendor identified a recent Encryption Control System (ECS) update inadvertently resulted in impact when the desktop client attempts to retrieve ECS settings without restarting. Vendor is working to revert the impacting change to mitigate impact for all users.
