Service Restored at 5:20 p.m. on 5/30/20: OIT has addressed the certificate issues that caused authentication problems earlier in the day. Thank you for your patience as we worked through the problem.

Service Issue Updated at 12:45 p.m. on 5/30/20: OIT has been able to restore access to many of the services impacted by this authentication issue, including Canvas, Buff Portal, and Web Express. The issue is related to a certificate problem. We're continuing to work out the remaining authentication problems by renewing certificates. There may be temporary issues with accessing services that use Federated Identity Service as the work progresses. We'll provide another update when we have more information or all services are restored.

Service Issue Reported at 8:56 a.m. on 5/30/20: OIT and Strategic Relations are working together to resolve an authentication failure that occurs when users try to log in to services that use an LDAP connection like Web Express. Users may see an error that says, "failed to connect to ldap server." We have identified the problem and we're working to restore authentication to impacted services.
