Update at 7:30 am: Maintenance is complete and services have been tested and verified.
On Tuesday, February 25, from 6:30 – 7:30 am, OIT plans to upgrade firewall software to resolve bugs. During the software upgrade, the wired network will be unavailable in many campus buildings (see Affected Buildings below).
Impact
The outage will impact subnets which means that in some cases only portions of a building might experience an outage. The downtime should be brief (approximately 15 minutes); however, the maintenance window is scheduled for one hour to potentially address any residual problems from the change. The wireless network will not be impacted by this maintenance.
