Description
Oracle Identity Manager, and in turn OIT’s IdentiKey Manager service, will be impacted by load balancer maintenance from 7:30 pm to 9 pm on Friday, December 20. During the maintenance window, IdentiKey Manager (identikey.colorado.edu) will be unavailable and therefore users will be unable to activate accounts or make changes to accounts during the maintenance. This maintenance, which was originally scheduled for December 13 but had to be aborted, is necessary to apply patches and updates.
Impact
1. IdentiKey Manager (identikey.colorado.edu) will be unavailable during the window with a down/maintenance message. Users will be unable to activate accounts, change passwords, manage secondary accounts, change display names, manage email settings, etc.
2. Creation of new accounts and updates to existing accounts in OIM will be paused during the maintenance. These events will be queued and processed when the work is complete.
3. Aurora reads and presents user information from OIM and thus will be impacted during the window.
