Description
The BIOT distribution firewall will be replaced from 6 am to 7 am on Tuesday, October 29. During the maintenance window, the wired network may not be available in portions of select buildings (see Affected Buildings below). This upgrade is necessary to replace a firewall that is near end-of-life with a model that has more capability.

Because this outage is affecting the network at a subnet level, parts of buildings may be affected while other parts of the same building are not. Buildings where the wired network may be impacted by the upgrade include:

- Temporary Building 84
