CU Secure and CU Guest have now replaced UCB Wireless and UCB Guest across campus in all buildings. To use the new CU Secure network that replaced UCB Wireless, you must register your devices in advance so they can connect.
Registering will differ by device:
- If you typically connect a personal laptop, smartphone or tablet to campus Wi-Fi, install the CU Secure certificate now. You can do this on campus or off, but you will not be able to connect to CU Secure until you have done this step.
- While installing the CU Secure certificate, you may need to authenticate with Microsoft multi-factor authentication.
- If you have a personal gaming system or smart device, register it on the new CU Guest network using the Specialty Wi-Fi Devices Portal. For security purposes, the portal can only be accessed from a non-guest campus network (CU Secure, eduroam or the wired internet) or the campus VPN.
For step-by-step instructions and videos, see Wireless Internet - Help.
