Description

Service restored at 2:15 p.m.: www.colorado.edu legacy websites have been restored to normal operation. Website content is in read/write mode and access to /htdocs from spot.colorado.edu and rintintin.colorado.edu has been restored to normal as well.

Service Issue Update at 10:15 a.m.: OIT has turned on www.colorado.edu legacy websites in a read-only state while we work to restore the web environment from a storage issue. "Legacy" describes sites that are edited through the OIT servers spot.colorado.edu and rintintin.colorado.edu and are stored in the /htdocs directory. This does not include WWW Next Generation (NG) websites that are managed through Drupal, which are functioning properly. The read-only state is expected to last through Monday, August 5.

During this time, webpages can be viewed, but site managers will not be able to edit any files. It is possible that a visitor may encounter a page that isn't displaying properly. Scripts such as submission forms can be executed, unless they involve writing to a file stored in the "htdocs" directory.

Thank you for your patience during this process. If you have questions, please contact the IT Service Center.
