Service Restored: Reloading Network Edge Switches - Network Outage Affecting East Campus

Edge network switch maintenance completed at 6:42 a.m., and testing of restored connectivity complete and confirmed at 7:11 a.m. All network services have been successfully restored to East Campus.

Edge network switches are being reloaded/restarted to apply an IOS software update. East Campus will experience a wired and wireless data network outage for approximately 30 minutes (6:00 a.m. to 6:30 a.m.) during this maintenance window.

Impact

East Campus will experience a wired and wireless data network outage for approximately 30 minutes (6:00 a.m. to 6:30 a.m.) during this maintenance window. LASP Space Technology Research Center (LSTR) and Space Science Building (SPSC), due to wired networks independent of UCB, will experience a wireless data network outage only during this time.
