Description
OIT will be upgrading the data center firewall in the Computing Center with new hardware and software the morning of January 9, from 5:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. Because the work will be performed such as to allow the system to remain up during the upgrade, no service impacts are expected; however, if issues are encountered during the maintenance, services that live behind the firewall (outlined in the "Affected Services" section below) could be unavailable for up to 10 minutes.

The following services could be affected if unexpected issues are encountered during the data center firewall upgrade: Exchange, Enterprise Database, Google Search, www.colorado.edu websites, www-mysql, Private Cloud services, Security general, CU Clicker Registration, CUPD photo lookup, Northstar.For More Information
