Description
The Exchange Autodiscover service reconfiguration has been rescheduled to take place on Saturday, April 19, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m (it was previously scheduled for Sunday, April 13). Although the Microsoft Exchange email and calendaring service is not expected to be impacted, there is a possibility that one or more client access services will experience a service outage or degradation due to the complexity of the work.
Impact
Although the Microsoft Exchange email and calendaring service is not expected to be impacted, there is a possibility that one or more client access services (e.g. Outlook, IMAP, mobile device) will experience a service outage or degradation due to the complexity of the work. If any service outages or degradations are encountered, appropriate communications will be launched.
Workaround
If your usual client access service is impacted, you can access your Exchange account via Outlook Web App for Exchange, located at https://exchangeweb.colorado.edu.
Scope
This work is part of the Microsoft Office 365 project and is being performed to ready the Exchange 2007 email and calendaring environment for migration to Exchange Online. No accounts will be migrated at this time; Sunday’s work is in preparation for migrations. The Microsoft Office 365 project encompasses phase two of the Email Calendaring and Direction plan.
