Description

The Enterprise Directory service, which provides identity authentication for the majority of OIT services, will be moved to a new content switch on Tuesday, March 25, from 5:30 p.m to 7:00 p.m. During the 90-minute maintenance window, it is anticipated that for approximately 10 minutes around 6:00 p.m., any new IdentiKey logins will fail (for services requiring IdentiKey authentication) and active sessions may be dropped.

Scope

This work is being done as part of an overall phased effort, which is anticipated to last through April, to cut over services from our existing legacy Cisco content switch to the new F5 content switch, will provide increased stability, performance and security for our end users.

Affected Services

VPN, Desire2Learn, Large File Transfer, Adobe Connect, Exchange mail routing, and many other services (both OIT and departmental) requiring IdentiKey authentication.
