Description
On Sunday, May 11, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., an Oracle update will be applied to the Enterprise Directory database. During the two-hour maintenance window, there will be two short outages, each anticipated to be less than 30 seconds, that will cause many services dependent on the database such as Mobile MyCUInfo, CU Boulder Identity Manager, CUClickers, DEPA, and FRPA (to name a few) to be briefly unavailable. During the maintenance window, the following services will experience two brief outages:
- Applied Math service
- CEPS quick provisioning
- CU Boulder Identity Manager (cuidm.colorado.edu)
- Google Apps (provisioning process)
- Federated Authentication (Shibboleth)
- Mobile MyCUInfo
- Northstar
- Study Abroad database view
- MyCUInfo services:
- Book lists in student schedules
- D2L course requests in the Faculty Toolkit
- Excel-friendly rosters in the Faculty Toolkit
- DEPA (conflict of interest reporting)
- eAcademy (discounted software)
- FRPA (faculty reporting)
- CUClickers
Additionally, the following processes may be delayed as a result of the maintenance:
- Mail routing updates
- Registry jobstream
- Sympa Course Roster synchronization
