Grouper update delays

Issue Resolved at 1:45 PM 3/11/2020: All delays with Grouper memberships propagating to Active Directory cleared as of approximately 1:45pm today.

This includes membership changes for newly admitted students and numerous other Grouper changes that were made on Tuesday. All membership changes should now be reflected in Active Directory and the service is functioning normally.

CKRL (Cockerell Hall) wired and wireless are currently down on the first floor

Issue reported at 11:48 am on 03/03/20: Switch in CKRL T117 is reporting down.  NEO is investigating.  Wired and wireless services on the first floor are being impacted and will be down.

OIT is investigating and will update with more information as it is available 

Issue resolved at 1:00 pm on 03/03/20:  Switch in CKRL T117 is back online.  All services restored.

OIT is investigating outbound network degradation

UPDATE at 8:29 pm on 2/12/20: The campus networking has been fully restored. Thank you for your patience. 

UPDATE at 7:39 on 2/12/20: OIT will be rebooting the campus firewall at 8:00 pm tonight, this will cause a 15 minute networking outage on campus. Both wired and wireless services will be impacted. Update will be posted once the campus network has been fully restored.

Delays with propagation of Grouper memberships to Active Directory

Issue reported at 5:22 pm on 2/10/20: We are experiencing delays with Grouper membership changes propagating to Active Directory due to unexpectedly high volume.

OIT is taking steps to move the queued up messages for processing so that day to day changes can go through. However, this process takes time and currently all non distribution-list changes are delayed. We're hopeful that changes will be caught up in the morning, and we will provide additional updates.

Fleming Network Outage

Issue Resolved 1/27/2020 7:56 am: FLMG back online. All services restored.

Issue Reported 1/25/2020 7:43 pm: All network services (Wired/Wireless) offline in FLMG after Facman scheduled power work today. OIT is investigating and should have Network access restored by Business time Monday.

LMS Course Creation and Canvas Web Grading Sync Outage

Issue Reported on 12/18/19 at 12:57 pm: Users attempting to create new Canvas courses or use the Web Grading Sync tool in Canvas will see an Internal Service Error or Service Temporarily Unavailable Error. The Software Engineering team has been engaged to troubleshoot the issue. 

Issue Resolved on 12/18/19 at 1:10 pm: The server running Canvas course creation and web grading sync has been restarted and now both services are restored.

Canvas Create a Course for MyCUInfo

Issue resolved at 7:20 am on 7/11/19: Faculty are now able to create their courses in Canvas via MyCUInfo. Thank you for your patience.

Enterprise Storage - Files & UCBFiles File Server

Update: This migration was postponed in order to address share naming issues. When a new date is established, Files and UCB Files users will be notified by email.

Fileshares beginning with the following paths on the Enterprise Storage service will be moved to new hardware from 7 pm on Tuesday, May 28, to 7 am on Wednesday, May 29 making the service intermittently unavailable.
