Are you thinking of ways to make your lectures more interactive? Have you wondered how to confirm whether your students are learning what you’re teaching? OIT is offering training on setting up and using iClicker in the classroom. The CUClickers service now integrates seamlessly with your Canvas course, too. We’ll spend plenty of time setting up your integration with Canvas so you can easily download rosters, upload grades, and keep your Canvas grade book current.
Topics will include:
• Download and installation
• Configuration with Canvas
• Different ways to grade with iClicker
• writing iClicker questions to effectively engage the class.
Space in the training sessions is limited, so please register early. You should bring a laptop because these are hands-on trainings and make sure it has a standard USB plug on it, or a way to adapt to one. Also, if you’re using Canvas, please make sure to set up your course in advance of the training. Finally, if you have any questions, please reach out to Rob Leary at firstname.lastname@example.org..
