Description
Network connectivity, including both wired and wireless connections, and VoIP phone service, will be unavailable for 10 to 20 minutes in many campus buildings (see Affected Buildings below) between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 1, while network switches are restarted to complete installation of new code. This emergency maintenance is necessary to address network vulnerabilities that could cause the network to lose connectivity at any time.
Impact
Network connectivity, including both wired and wireless connections, and VoIP phone service, will be unavailable for 10 to 20 minutes per building between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 1. This maintenance will not affect analog connections. Please note, the IT Service Center will be open on Sunday, October 1 from noon to 6:00 p.m.
