With the fall term just around the corner, we’re excited to share helpful tips for getting the most out of Canvas, along with updates to Canvas tools and integrations that can enhance your teaching experience.
Latest updates to Canvas & Canvas integrations

- Canvas Templates: Check out the new CU Boulder Canvas Template.
- “My Course Materials” link renamed to “CU Book Access.”
- Turnitin Feedback Studio: New Similarity Report.
- Cidi Labs: QuickStart Wizard now available. Upgrade your content to the new Cidi Labs DesignPlus sidebar before December 31, 2025.
Set up Canvas courses

- Review student-centered course design tips and grading for student success.
Enhance your course with Canvas integrations
- Canvas Studio: Enhanced Features and Functions.
- PlayPosit: Engage students with your Canvas Studio videos by making them interactive using PlayPosit. Training videos are available on the Academic Technology Training page.
- Classroom Capture: Add Classroom Capture videos to the Canvas navigation bar.
- iClicker: Consider using iClicker to increase classroom engagement. You can set up the integration and create an assignment grade group for iClicker to publish to.
