Google Calendar is a web-based tool for personal scheduling and calendar sharing. Google Calendar can be accessed through either a Web browser or through a third-party calendar client. General information about using Google Calendar with screen readers can be found on Google’s Get started in Google Slides with a screen reader page.
In a web browser, Google Calendar has multiple views - Day, Month, 4 Days, and Agenda. The Agenda view is the only view that supports any accessibility features, such as keyboard and screen reader support (activate the Agenda view by using pressing the 5 key, no control or alt required). Google Calendar supports ChromeVox and JAWS on Windows; however, other screen reading applications may have accessibility issues.
Users who prefer a desktop client can sync with an existing desktop program such as Microsoft Outlook. Find instructions for this on the Google Apps Sync for Microsoft Outlook page.
