Google Drive Review & Save Workshops

Submitted by stauffeg on

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) is offering online sessions to help faculty and staff review and save essential Google Drive files owned by former colleagues and former students. These files are scheduled to be deleted on June 14, so it's important to take action to save any valuable data.

OIT's team will guide participants through the process of navigating Google Drive, identifying files owned by former colleagues and students, and verifying if a file owner's Google account is designated to be deleted. Attendees will also have the opportunity to work on reviewing and saving their own files during the session, with support from OIT team members.

These working sessions will be available on the following dates and times:

May 15, 3-4 p.m. MT

May 17, 3-4 p.m. MT

May 19, 10-11 a.m. MT

These sessions will be held via Zoom, and registration is required. To register, please complete the online session registration form. Please note that you must log in to the form with your IdentiKey.

Register today and share this news with your colleagues to ensure everyone has a chance to review and save vital files before the June 14 deadline.

The OIT website has step-by-step instructions to help you identify and save affected files. For more information about the sessions, or for assistance with Google Drive file review and preservation, please contact the IT Service Center at 303-735-4357 or email oithelp@colorado.edu.
