Daily Remote Teaching Drop-In Sessions
These drop-in sessions are for instructors who would like hands-on support as they prepare to teach their courses remotely. Learning Technology Consultants and other teaching with technology experts will be on hand to answer questions about Canvas, Zoom, and other campus supported academic technology tools.
Preparing for Remote Instruction: 8 Easy Steps
Planning for remote instruction can help reduce stress and confusion during this challenging time. In this session, you will be introduced to the essentials of rapidly moving a course online by a certified e-learning instructional designer with over five years’ experience designing and delivering fully online and hybrid courses. The training will combine guidance on structuring the remote learning experience with live demos to introduce some basic Canvas functions.
Administering Quizzes Online Using Canvas
This training is designed for instructors who are interested in delivering quizzes and exams online using the Canvas Quiz tool. The training will cover quiz setup and functionality, the question types available for a Canvas quiz, and how to grade submitted quizzes.
