Overview

The Cisco VoIP Unified Communications system is CU Boulder's new telephone and voicemail system. This system encompasses telephone, call center, voice messaging, email integration, and other current technologies.

Cisco VoIP Unified Communications Project

The Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) Unified Communications project is replacing CU Boulder's existing Avaya telephone systems. Departments will be notified well in advance when they will be transitioned to the Cisco system. Cisco Unified 9971 Model Phones 

OIT will not be offering 9971 model phones to new users as part of the phone deployment, but some users may have been issued them previously. Refer to the Cisco Unified IP Phone 9971 User Guide or the links below for instructions and help using your phone.
