Facilities management will be performing power equipment maintenance in J.S. Caruthers Biotech Building (BIOT) starting on from 6:30 p.m. until 11:59 p.m., on Tuesday, May 16 and Wednesday, May 17 (No work will be done during business hours). There is no expected impact during the maintenance window, and facilities has planned ahead so that network equipment will not be without power during the maintenance window.
Impact
During the BIOT building power upgrades happening from 6:30 p.m. until 11:59 p.m., on Tuesday, May 16 and Wednesday, May 17, no outages are expected. However, if power/cooling for network equipment is lost for some reason, there could be outages to network and telecommunications services in BIOT and downstream buildings, along with wireless services in residence halls. If you notice an outage during or after this window in BIOT, please contact the IT Service Center.
