Description
The moving of data center firewalls to new network switches from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. on Monday, January 11, could cause network and service outages for many of the campus’s online services. Steps have been taken to eliminate impact to campus services, but the potential for service disruptions still exists. During the maintenance window, many of the campus’s online services could become unavailable including, but not limited to: Buff Portal, MyCUInfo, Canvas, CU Boulder IdentiKey Manager, Federated Identity Service (Fed Auth), Web Express websites and more. This maintenance is a necessary step in the upgrading of campus network switches.
Impact
From 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. on Monday, January 11, many of the campus’s online services could become unavailable including, but not limited to: Buff Portal, MyCUInfo, Canvas, CU Boulder IdentiKey Manager, Federated Identity Service (Fed Auth), Web Express websites and more.
