Service Restored 1/25/16, 2:57 p.m.:  Microsoft Engineers have confirmed that the fix for the IMAP issue is complete and the issue is resolved. 

Service Update 1/25/16, 7:00 a.m.: Microsoft has reported that the deployment process is taking longer than initially expected due to a configuration issue. Users will begin to experience service restoration as the deployment progresses. 

Service Update 1/22/16, 7:45 a.m.: Microsoft Engineers have developed a fix to resolve the issue. They are currently deploying the fix and the service should be restored by 7:00 p.m. tonight.  

Issue Reported 1/20/16, 12:57 p.m.: Microsoft has reported that users connected to Exchange via IMAP (e.g. Thunderbird) are currently unable to receive emails. As a workaround, they recommend for users to access email via the Outlook Web App (OWA). More information will be posted here as it becomes available.
